Bicycle Lesson #8 - Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, France

Didn't want to bike in the rain.  Made excuses.  Said it was pouring though it was only drizzling. Then I stopped making excuses and mounted the bike.  And I'm so glad I did, though now it is really pouring, it was a great bike lesson.

Do it!  Do it!  Do it!  Practice! Practice! Practice! It'll get easier. If I take a break and not ride, it only slows down the process, puts a stop on what's important, breaks a good habit.

And that gets us to why I'm really here on this hilltop in a rainy windstorm; it is to remind me how important "Do it!" is as I'm near the end of the first draft of The Drummer's Widow and I can't stop now.

So that 's it for today.  Got to go dry off and write that final chapter. Happy Sunday.

When it rains in Teyssieres it pours!

When it rains in Teyssieres it pours!
