In Pursuit . . is published. What do I do now?

What do I do now? I ask myself and the immediate answer is: "Move on. Face the truth by facing the blank page. Risk it all! Start your next novel." 

But then I ask, "What about IN PURSUIT...? 

"Leave it. It will have a life of its own."

"Okay," I say. "Good plan." But I still worry. I know there is much more a publisher would do to promote my novel, but I'm a writer.

Because I'm lucky to live in Manhattan,  I escape into the night to hear my dear friends, pianist Fred Hersch, and vocalist Janis Siegel give a concert. Two friends dear to my heart. There is nothing like live music to make one feel alive with gratitude.
