A Reading Performance of The Drummer's Widow

Last night I did a reading at the California Writers Club. A thrill. After all the years I've spent as an artist manager making it possible for singers and musicians to get up on stage and perform while I watched from the wings—it's really quite spectacular to be the one now out on centerstage.
