As our imminent departure draws closer, I copyedit my manuscript and then proofread it. I am reminded of Virginia and Leonard Woolf’s Hogarth Press and how all their work was self-published. The image of Virginia bending over an ink-stained printing press to handset Katherine’s sixty-eight-page "Prelude" made what I was doing seem less arduous and more respectful.
